Issue

  • New NIC was installed for the shelf extension
  • High Latency observed for IOps after the change
  • Network congestion reported in EMS.log:

Thu Apr 10 13:53:40 +0200 [node-01:mccip_mirror_congestion_mgr_p: mcc.network.congestion:notice]: Network congestion detected. Action taken: Increased ic_timeout to 1200 msec

  • Unynchronized log repeatedly reported in EMS.log:
monitor.globalStatus.critical:Controller failover of node-01 is not possible: unsynchronized log.
 
  • Switch reports port errors for one of the interconnect ports
