MetroCluster mediator still shows as reachable on System Manager after power off the medaitor server

Issue

  • MetroCluster mediator still shows as connected on System Manager GUI after power off the mediator server
  • But the ONTAP command line shows the correct result

Example:

  1. Power off Mediator VM 
  2. Check Mediator status by CLI
