MCCIP fail to assign disk automatically with error "BOOTMGR: If the disk shelves are partially populated"

Issue

  • During 4-node MetroCluster IP initial installation, after performing option ‘9a’ to unown all disks and use the option "9c" to initialize/auto-assign disk. the following error messages report:

Followbest practice guidelines to populate disks in the right slots
