Using the Active IQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) and its capability to subscribe to EMS messages. Based on the generated event in AIQUM you can then create an alert which could include sending an email.

These are the EMS messages the AIQUM instance should subscribe to:
  • EMS_mcc_config_auso_stDisabled
  • EMS_mcc_config_auso_stEnabled
  • EMS_cf_mccip_med_auso_stDisabled
  • EMS_cf_mccip_med_auso_stEnabled
