ATTO 7600 bridge reboots with "HW Code: L4 Watchdog 0 Warm"

Issue

  • ATTO FibreBridge 7600 reboots and the below alerts are seen in the event logs:

[Cluster1-01: dsbridge_admin: bridge.rebooted:debug]: FC-to-SAS bridge Cluster1-sw3:10.126L0 [ATTO FibreBridge7600N 4.25] S/N [FB7600N000000] was rebooted.
[Cluster1-01: dsbridge_admin: callhome.bridge.reboot.unexp:alert]: Call home for Bridge Unexpected Reboot: FB7600N000000

  • The BRIDGE-EVENT-LOG.TGZ section of the autosupport shows the following:

044F64 00:00:06 01/01/00 INFO Reset.  HW Code: L4 Watchdog 0 Warm
044F65 00:00:06 01/01/00 INFO Reset.  Reason: Unhandled HW Watchdog Interrupt
044F66 03:35:14 05/03/24 SYS  System date has changed. Current date:[05/03/2024]
044F67 03:35:14 05/03/24 INFO Boot/reset occurred (001P)

  • The ATTO bridge is secured and using in-band management.
