XCP scan speed is slower in XCP 1.9.x compared to 1.6.3

Issue

When running the same xcp scan command on identical dataset, XCP 1.9.2 (and newer) shows significantly slower speeds compared to XCP 1.6.3

Example:

XCP 1.6.3
Stats       : 475M scanned, 359 matched
Speed       : 109 GiB in (7.32 MiB/s), 6.15 GiB out (422 KiB/s)
Total Time  : 4h14m.
STATUS      : PASSED

XCP 1.9.2
Stats       : 482M scanned, 359 matched
Speed       : 109 GiB in (3.94 MiB/s), 6.15 GiB out (227 KiB/s)
Total Time  : 7h53m.
Job ID      : Job_xxx_scan
Log Path    : /opt/NetApp/xFiles/xcp/xcplogs/Job_xxx_scan.log
STATUS      : PASSED
