Issue

  • NetApp XCP execution log records warnings when setting file timestamps
  • Errors occur only on specific files, not on all migrated data
  • XCP log shows access denied (errno 5) during timestamp operation

WARNING - xcp.fs - error setting timestamps on "dir\filename.crypto": errno (code: 5) Access is denied
WARNING - xcp.fs - error setting timestamps on "dir\filename.BitLockerOFF": errno (code: 5) Access is denied WARNING - xcp.fs - error setting timestamps on "dir\filename.BitLocker": errno (code: 5) Access is denied

  • File migration completes, but timestamp preservation fails for specific filenames or extensions
