XCP File Analytics installation fails due to user "central" in 1.9.2 and earlier

  • XCP File Analytics prior to 1.9.3

Issue

  • When running the configure.sh file during XCP File Analytics installation, the following error messages are encountered:

(pg.InternalError) FATAL:  password authentication failed for user "central"

NOTE: Please make sure you are root user. File Analytics installation unsuccessful. Please refer the user guide.

  • Attempting to run this script as the root user does not resolve the error
