No. XCP does not support modifying (writing to) the destination volume during migration or incremental sync operations

  • Unsupported features
    • The following common features are not available for XCP NFS and SMB:
      Live destination: XCP does not support modifying data on the destination volume during a migration or during an incremental sync.

    • xcp verify can get a list of differences between the source and destination.
  • sync
    • xcp sync can modify the destination so that it matches the source.
