Issue

  • Created a LUN in ONTAP.
  • Made it recognizable by two Windows Servers via iSCSI initiator.
  • Assigning it to the Z drive on both Windows servers.
  • When creating folders and files on the Z drive of one Windows Server (Server 1), the folders and files are created successfully.
  • When creating folders and files on the Z drive of one Windows Server (Server 2), these folders and files are not reflected in real-time.
  • By taking the disk offline and then online from the "Disk Management" screen on the Z drive of Windows Server 2, the folders and files created on Windows Server 1 become visible on Server 2 as well.
  • The "partially connected" warning status appears when connecting a LUN to a Windows Server.
