Issue

  • At timestamp of node takeover and giveback during ONTAP upgrade, ESXi lost access to volumes:
Lost access to volume 6682a71f-6c1a0fd6-d358-000e1e96e800 (vol1) due to connectivity issues. Recovery attempt is in progress and outcome will be reported shortly.
  • During upgrade, node experiences 99% CPU utilization
  • CPU utilization is constantly above 60% load even outside of upgrade
