Data migration host reports Errno 27 File too large

Issue

  • During the data migration from S3 to ONTAP S3, the host system is reporting an error that the file is too large.
download: s3://source_path to sync/ONTAP_s3_path
download failed: s3://source_path/file1 to sync/ONTAP_s3_path/file1
[Errno 27] File too large: '/home/km/source_path/file2.ED8d77e6'
 
  • From the ASUP log, we have also detected a wafl.dir.size.max message.
EMERGENCY wafl.dir.size.max: Directory size for fileid "98" in volume "bucket__0001" reached the maxdirsize limit.
