Issue

  • secd.ldap.bindDn.missing alert seen in EMS logs on ONTAP versions 9.8 and above, so these alerts are spamming the emails since SMTP is configured for alerts
  • EMS logs:

[ClusterA-01: secd: secd.ldap.bindDn.missing:alert]: The LDAP bind DN user is not configured on Vserver admin Vserver.
