  • For 10.1 and 10.2 zero RPO recovery, the recovery volume present in the SVM is mapped to the default export policy.
  • The default export policy is configured to allow all access:
    • Network Objects: 0.0.0.0/0, 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0/0 (applies to all IPv4 and IPv6 addresses)
    • NFS Versions: NFSv3, NFSv4, NFS (applies to all NFS versions)
    • Clients/Users: Any (applies to any client or user)
    • Operations: Any (applies to any operation)
    • Security Types: Any (applies to any security type)

  • This permissive configuration ensures that the recovery volume can be mounted to any node IP address during the recovery process. 
  • Before deployment, ensure that the default export policy is configured with the necessary access. This can be done by setting the appropriate rules to allow all access as described above.
