"password complexity requirements" error while changing cifs local user password

Issue

  • While changing the password for CIFS local user, below error is reported:
NetApp::> local-user set-password -vserver svm -user-name xxxx
(vserver cifs users-and-groups local-user set-password)
 
Enter the new password:
Confirm the new password:
 
Error: command failed: The password does not meet the password complexity requirements. Refer to the man page for details.
