Answer

  • Snapshots can restore NTFS permissions and audit settings configured on files and directories.
  • When restore file or folder from "previous version" ,the access rights of the parent folder will be inherited.
  • If want to revert to the permission settings at that point in time, use the 'snapshot restore' or 'snapshot restore-file'.
