Answer

  • There is no impact of increasing the NFS group limit to 128
  • Make sure that the user does not belong to more than the maximum number of groups supported on the site NIS or LDAP server
  • This maximum should correspond to the value of the "extended-groups-limit" field that was either displayed or set in the given command:

::>nfs show -vserver <vservername> -fields extended-groups-limit
