What are the restrictions on export policies and qtree for FlexCache destinations?

Answer

  • With regards to Export Policy, the Origin Export Policy applied to the qtree does not enforce access to mount at the cache. The export policy does not have control over the cache mount access.
  • With regards to Qtree, it is not possible to create any configurations directly at the FlexCache destination, including the application of export policies to qtrees. Qtrees are not supported at FlexCache volumes at this time.
