Issue
Tue Jun 29 21:29:20 EDT [NODE-01: nblade2: Nblade.vscanNoScannerConn:EMERGENCY]: Vserver "VSERVER1" has no virus scanner connection.
- Multiple nodes and their SVMs are unable to connect to vscan servers (appended example below)
Cluster::> vserver vscan connection-status show-all Connection Vserver Node Server Status Disconnect Reason ----------- ----------------- --------------- -------------- ----------------- Vserver1 disconnected remote-closed Node-01 10.73.251.116 Vserver1 disconnected remote-closed Node-01 10.73.251.137 Vserver1 disconnected remote-closed Node-02 10.73.251.116 Vserver1 disconnected remote-closed Node-02 10.73.251.137
- The Antivirus Connector can ping the SVM management LIF, however connection fails with '
unable to connect to remote server
' on attempting to connect to ONTAP using HTTPS.
- Vscan configuration is checked and found to be correct, with privileged user set and able to authenticate
- Nothing is blocking traffic on the network
