Vscan does not delete files once its extension is renamed to a non excluded extension

Issue

  • .txt files are excluded from virus scan
::> vserver vscan on-access-policy file-ext-to-exclude add -vserver vs1 -policy-name policy1 -file-ext-to-exclude txt
  • A file is renamed to .com and no scan occurs
  • File name is now changed to eicar2.com and the file is now deleted
