Issue

  • Vscan disconnects post user password change in AD.
  •  "Vserver vscan connection-status show -svm <>" shows 0 server connected.
  • "vserver vscan connection-status show-not-connected-vserver <>" shows Server Disconnect Reason: -
  • No major Vscan errors seen in EMS other than Vscan being enabled and disabled.
  • AV connector logs shows multiple "Waiting for scanner to register before opening the pipe" events:
    • 12/20/24-02:29:19.292Z [Pipe: -> ][r] Waiting for scanner to register before opening the pipe
    • 12/20/24-02:29:19.292Z [Pipe: -> ][r] Waiting for scanner to register before opening the pipe
    • 12/20/24-02:29:19.292Z [Pipe: -> ][r] Waiting for scanner to register before opening the pipe
