Vscan Server fails to connect after SPE and AV Connector Upgrade with EMS:vscanBadUserPrivAccess

Issue

  • After upgrading the Vscan server and AV connector, the Vscan server was unable to connect to the ONTAP system.
  • Antivirus scans were not being performed, and the following EMS log error was observed:
[node4:kernel:Nblade.vscanBadUserPrivAccess:error]: For Vserver "svm", the attempt to connect to the privileged ONTAP_ADMIN$ share by the client "xx.xx.xx.xx" is rejected because its logged-in user "domain\\\\machine-account$" is not configured in any of the Vserver active scanner pools.
