Issue

  • Vmware VCF installer failing with error
 
NFS mount failure - Vmware VCF installer failing with "Failed to validate NFS configuration for "host" :
Operation failed, diagnostics report: Error: 0x202: Unable to reach 10.0.0.1 on port: 111, Connection timed out
Remediation: Ensure that provided NFS details are correct"
 
  • Manually mounting the NFS file system within VMware console works.
  • Verified NFS ports are open between VMware host and ONTAP NFS LIF
