User added to the BUILTIN\Administrators group does not get access to the share

Issue

  • Added user to BUILTIN\Administrators group.
  • It is taking time for the changes to take effect (maximum 24 hours).
  • User is unable to access the share path where he is part of the DACL, even though diag secd shows user is part of BUILTIN\Administrators.
