Unix user unable to access NTFS volume due to name mapping error

Issue

  • When an NFS client attempts to access an NTFS qtree, permission denied error is reported on client.
  • EMS shows below errors:

NODE1A ERROR  secd.nfsAuth.problem: vserver (SVM_NEW) General NFS authorization problem. Error: Get user credentials procedure failed
[0 ms] Using cached S-1-5-xx-xxxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxxxxx to 'DOMAIN\APP_GROUP' mapping
**[0] FAILURE: Cannot get credentials for 'DOMAIN\APP_GROUP', SID 'S-1-5-xx-xxxx-xxx-xxx-xxx-xxxxxx'. Not a user or machine
