Issue

  • Unable to set NFSv4 ACLs on the client
  • Client error:

[root@~]# nfs4_setfacl -R -a U:fdS:EVERYONE@:rwaDdxtTnNcCyo /mnt/

Failed setxattr operation: Invalid argument

An error occurred during recursive file tree walk.

  • When the NFS server evaluates the files in the volume to implement the ACL through a LOOKUP, it finds a NF4SOCK file and returns the error NFS4ERR_INVAL.
