Issue

  • Unable to rename or delete a folder or file in a top folder of the CIFS share as user2
    • User1 is able to perform the same actions
  • Reported errors for user2 are as follow
    • Security trace reports
      Access is denied. The requested permissions are not granted by the ACE while adding a directory during rename. Access is not granted for: "Append"
      Access is denied. The requested permissions are not granted by the ACE while opening existing file or directory. Access is not granted for: "Append"
    • Windows errors
      Folder Access Denied. You need permission to perform this action.
      File Access Denied. You need permission to perform this action.
