Unable to mount NTFS security style Qtree with BlueXP Classification - Data Sense

Issue

  • When attempting to move data using BlueXP Classification, client receives the following error:

[Errno 13] Permission denied: '/tmpmounts/pid_579/<filer IP>/<parent_volume>/<qtree_name>'

Make sure Data Sense has read&write permissions for the source & destination location. The action was not performed.

  • No issues when volume is unix security style
  • unix-win name-mapping is configured as expected.
  • Mounting manually to the qtree path works (able to mount/read/write).
