Issue

  • Unable to create share on snapshot directory under qtree with below error

::> cifs share create -vserver svm01 -share-name restore -path /voltest_cdot/qtree1/.snapshot
Error: command failed: The specified path "/voltest_cdot/qtree1/.snapshot" does not exist in the namespace belonging to Vserver "svm01".

  • file-directory show command works for same path.

::> file-directory show -vserver svm01 -path /voltest_cdot/qtree1/.snapshot
