Unable to create qtree due to FlexCache CSM error

Issue

  • Unable to create a new qtree on felxcache origin volume with below error:
    • Error: command failed: Failed to create qtree "test" in volume "svm1" Vserver "origin". Reason: FlexCache encountered a CSM failure.
  • EMS logs indicating that the origin cluster is unable to communicate with the flexcache volume:
    • Wed Nov 19 00:46:28 +0200 [cluster-07: UtilFsmThread: flexcache.cacheDisconnected:EMERGENCY]: FlexCache origin volume with Name volume1 MSID xxyy820046 on Vserver Name vserver1 UUID 7xxyy-aabbcc-dd0f6 is disconnected from FlexCache volume with Vserver UUID 34fe01234xyz-4567abc8524 and MSID 21xxyyzz17.
  • Auditm logs:
