Issue

  • Unable to add a preferred Domain Controller:

::> vserver cifs domain preferred-dc add -vserver SVM1 -domain netapp.com -preferred-dc 10.xx.yy.10
Error: command failed: Invalid domain controller 10.xx.yy.10

  • PING command to the DC works:

::> network ping -lif CIFS_SVM1 -vserver SVM1 -destination 10.xx.yy.10
10.xx.yy.10 is alive
