Issue

  • Unable to access CIFS shares after a snapmirror migration to a new cluster in a different domain
  • Users can authenticate to the domain, but are denied access to shares
  • security trace filter shows that the users in the new domain are denied access:

<vserver_name> Security Style: NTFS and Access is denied. The
NT ACL requested permissions are not
granted by the ACE while
opening existing file or
directory. Access is not
granted for: "Execute"

  • Unable to see certain domain groups from vserver services access-check authentication show-creds
