Unable to access CVO shares or SSH to any of the cluster IPs from a single host

Issue

  • A single client is not able to access CIFS share on their cloud volume ONTAP system. Error reported:  Windows cannot access [\\...]\\... Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose"
  • When trying to SSH to any of the nodes IP's (cluster management or node management) from the same host impacted, the request times out after a few seconds. Time out error.
  • Ping from the impacted host to the cluster IP's (node and cluster management IP's) are successful.
  • When checking the Status of these instance from both the NetApp console and system manager, they are showing are up and healthy.
