Traffic on unusual port 52049 to a server inside monitored cloud accounts

Issue

  • The monitoring tool shows that the two HA nodes are attempting TCP (NFS) communication using an infrequently used port 52049.
  • The following errors are reported by monitoring tool:
    • Investigate your server host to determine if the unusual server port represents unauthorized behavior and the corresponding service should be shutdown.
    • Review the communication between your server host and the client host to determine if it conforms with your network policies.
