  • The Snapshot directory is still visible and accessible from the Windows client after disabling it in ONTAP
  • snapdir-access is disabled:

::> volume show -vserver svm1 -volume volume1 -fields snapdir-access
vserver volume snapdir-access
----------- --------------------------------- --------------
svm1   volume1 false
