Issue

  • When selecting multiple .TS files on a CIFS share, Windows Explorer freezing for 2-3 seconds
  • The issue was specific to .TS files, which are script files used by the Terastream solution
  • Renaming .TS files to .txt resolves the issue
  • Issue only occurs on CIFS share, not on local disk
  • No evidence was found of involvement from Fpolicy, Vscan, orAutonomous Ransomware Protection(ARP)
