Issue
Users experienced significant performance issues and failures when accessing and opening SOLIDWORKS design files stored on a NetApp FlexCache setup, especially with files containing numerous linked components
- SOLIDWORKS files with minimal linked components open successfully.
- SOLIDWORKS files with hundreds to thousands of linked components:
- Fail to open
- Take excessive time (up to 24 hours)
- Display error messages related to file access or timeout
