Qtree quota report and Linux client df or du show different quota sizes

Issue

  • Linux Samba client mounts NTFS Qtree, the df or du commands show the volume size instead of the Qtree quota size
  • DF shows volume size:
[root@samba ~]# df -h 
Filesystem                     Size  Used  Avail Use% Mounted on
//10.10.10.10/vol1/qtvol1      973M   48M  926M   5% /mnt/cifsvol1qt
  • Quota report:
::> volume quota report -volume vol1 -tree qtvol1
