Issue

  • Migrating the entire NetApp Cluster with all associated volumes to a Windows file server.
  • NetApp Origin data is accessed via both CIFS and NFS and users want this behavior to continue on the new file server.
  • After data was migrated encountering issues specifically with the multiprotocol aspects of data access.
  • Data sets need to be accessible via both CIFS/SMB and NFS to provide for both Windows and *nix client machines.
  • Need a path forward as to providing multiprotocol access to the same data sets from a Windows file server.
