New device unable to access NFS mount due to export-policy issue

Issue

  • When attempting to allow a new host/client to access an NFS export, client returns the following error:

mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting

  • Check access command comes back with denied
::> export-policy check-access -vserver svm1 -volume datavol -client-ip 10.20.40.80 -authentication-method  sys -protocol nfs4 -access-type read-write
