Issue

  • A CIFS vserver is successfully added to the AD domain
  • Name-mapping is also implemented via AD-LDAP
  • Customers tried to access the CIFS vserver through both Windows and NFS clients
  • The name-mapping to default to “pcuser” and resulted in insufficient access permissions.
