Issue

  • NFS can be mounted and write operations are possible. But after unmounting, mount fails with timeout error:

complete mount path: /nfs/share/example1mount -vvv output:
mount.nfs: timeout set for Fri Jul 26 01:09:02 2024
mount.nfs: Connection timed out

  • Portmap query fails, but expected port is open and telnet is successful:

mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'mountvers=3,addr=10.0.0.1'
mount.nfs: prog 100003, trying vers=3, prot=6
mount.nfs: portmap query retrying: RPC: Timed out

  • Vserver hosting LIF port is setup as VLAN
  • Packet trace shows half TCP sessions from storage and calls sent from client are not answered:

    STORAGE:

    Half TCP sessions.png
    CLIENT:

    Client traffic 2.png
