Issue

  • A network drive has been mapped
  • The Windows client is able to access this mapped network drive
  • The application installed on the Windows client is not able to access this already connected network drive
  • The issue can be resolved by modifying the following Windows registry key.
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System > Change EnableLinkedConnections from 0 to 1
