LIFs when hosted on a particular node is not responding to the client

Issue

  • Mount hung issue while accessing users home directory via certain nodes and issue is not seen if the impacted LIFs are migrated to different nodes.
  • Packet trace shows the incoming traffic from client however no response was sent back.
  • Manual ping to the gateway IP address from these affected node works however, we do not respond to any traffic hitting the lif.
  • Default manual route is created on these impacted nodes required for the return traffic back to the client.
