LIFs are not accessible when hosted on an IFGRP with a MAC Address showing all zeros

Issue

  • LIFs are not accessible when hosted on an interface group with a MAC address reporting not present or all zeros (00:00:00:00:00:00) in network port show output (or NETWORK-PORTS.XML AutoSupport section)
  • VIFMGR logs report that the interface group port is not found in the stack:

[Net::PortStackAdapter::getLinkState] Failed to read link state for port a0a: The port "a0a" does not exist in the stack.
[Net::PortStackAdapter::getLinkState] Failed to read link state for port a0a: The port "a0a" does not exist in the stack.
[Net::PortStackAdapter::getLinkState] Failed to read link state for port a0a: The port "a0a" does not exist in the stack.
[Net::PortStackAdapter::getStatus] Failed to read option state for port a0a: The port "a0a" does not exist in the stack.
[Net::PortStackAdapter::getStatus] Failed to read option state for port a0a: The port "a0a" does not exist in the stack.
[Net::PortStackAdapter::getMac] Failed to read mac for port a0a: The port "a0a" does not exist in the stack.
