Is there any impact when vscan servers are connected to storage array during antivirus application upgrade on server?

Answer

  • There will be no impact. However, we will see lot of events for vscan disconnect in the event logs on NetApp.
  • Netapp recommendation will be to disable the vscan and then make the changes. Once upgradations are done, then enable the vscan.
