Intermittent CIFS access issues due to DC communication with error "No Route to Host"

Issue

  • Users experience intermittent access failures when connecting to CIFS shares.
  • Or Users not able to access CIFS shares by DNS name or IP address
  • Error on application:
    WARNING: Error loading volume name list from data storejava.sql.SQLNonTransientConnectionException: [ActuateDD][PostgreSQL JDBC Driver]Error establishing socket to host and port: PXX-X-WAXX03:8433. Reason: \\pxx-st-nx20.mgmt.xx.org\pxx_mgmt_rm_prod_reporting_cluster\config\credentials\birtihub.jks (The network path was not found)  at com.actuate.jdbc.postgresqlbase.ddcp.b(Unknown Source)
    • EMS logs:
