Issue

  • When installing ONTAP Antivirus Connector software version 1.0.5 the following error might occur.
 
Error 1923. Service ONTAP AV Connector (ontapavc) could not be installed.
Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services.

  • The issue does not occur when the (Local/Domain) Administrator account is specified as ONTAP AV Connector Web Service Credentials during the installation

  • The issue seems to occur when other Admin or Service Account credentials are being specified during the installation
