ONTAP 9

Answer

  • Once the PUT operation completes successfully and ONTAP returns an HTTP 200 OK response, the object is immediately available for read operations.
  • This means that, under normal conditions and assuming no network latency, Server B can access the resource without delay.

Note:  If there is network latency between the servers and the ONTAP system, the time difference between upload completion and download availability will depend on the network conditions.
