Description

  • When collecting a packet capture for BGP traffic over a VIP the packet capture must be performed on the port that hosts the BGP LIF.
  • The BGP LIFs will always be owned by the Cluster Vserver/SVM.
  • In many/most cases there will be 2 BGP management LIFs in any given IP space and packet captures will need to be collected the ports for both of them.
